China-ASEAN Multimodal Transport Alliance Enters in China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park
The city of Nanning is currently expending the constructing project
of China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park (CSILP),
building a key logistics hub within the New International Land-Sea Trade
Corridor. Additionally, Nanning is working on a core area of China’s
economic open gateway to ASEAN region, creating a solid linkage between
two parties with the shortest, best customer service, and with the most
fruitful financial outcome.
On May 13th, 2019, Singapore holds
the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor Forum, announcing that
China-ASEAN Multimodal Transport Alliance (CAMTA) formally enters
in CSILP. From now on, CAMTA will integrate resources from within
Guangxi and ASEAN nations to accelerate the interconnection and
intercommunication regarding hardware, software, and information
network. Moreover, taking the advantage of location of Guangxi, which
is adjacent to oceans, borders and rivers, utilizing current favorable
policies and supports, Nanning Cross-border E-Commerce Comprehensive
Pilot Zones, financing support policy, and all of these will accelerate
trading and logistics plan and promote trade, logistics, productivity,
and culture within Asia Pacific and ASEAN countries. Thus, CAMTA will
continue to integrate resources for more global and local enterprises to
join CSILP.
CSILP representative claims that “We are currently
trying our best to optimize CAMTA organizational structure, in order to
benefit others. With the inclusion of more ASEAN logistics associations,
companies, and research institution, more local and ASEAN cooperation
will eventually accomplish Nanning being the key component of the New
International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. After the construction project of
CSILP gets done, combining efficient multimodal Transport, Guangxi
and ASEAN forwarders can work in a smooth transaction. Then improving
the function of logistics distribution and centralized delivery modal
within the areas in New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor will
optimize Nanning being a core hub in China, further develop “Naning
Channel” and fit in the framework of New International Land-Sea Trade
Corridor.
