Overseas News! CSILP has reached a cooperation intention with TIFFA Co.,LTD

On August 26th, 2020, Executive Chairman of Pacific International Lines Pte Ltd Singapore and Chairman of Singapore-Guangxi Integrated Developments Pte.Ltd Teo Siong Seng, and Suwit Ratanachinda, Chairman of Thailand International Freight Forwarding Association Co.,LTD (TIFFA Co.,LTD) formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for bilateral cooperation in cross border trade facilitation. Due to COVID-19 epidemic, the signing ceremony was conducted online via video conference link.

TIFFA Co.,LTD is leading in operating dry ports and providing trade information among Thailand logistic firms. Both TIFFA and China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park (CSILP) will work together to build a distribution center of agricultural products in western China. CSILP will will serve as an important hub for Thai agricultural exports to China, providing Thai companies with efficient customs clearance, cold chain, warehousing and other services. They agreed to take CSILP as the core and gradually expand the service scope of the agricultural product distribution center to major cities in China.

Teo Siong Seng and Suwit Ratanachinda agreed that CSILP is an significant node of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. The two sides will make every effort to build CSILP into another important distribution center for China and ASEAN agricultural products, an important logistics transfer hub and a dry trade port.
